The United Kingdom’s House of Commons is the lower house in Parliament, with 650 members elected democratically by party. In this special session of Parliament, convening on January 1, 2015, you will be discussing how to deal with growing discontent with the European Union. You are each members of various parties within Parliament, and you each have your own personal views on the role of the EU in British life. Some of you are from England, some Scottish, some Welsh, and some from Ireland. All of you will spend the next 4 days determining the course of the EU. Good luck - the fate of the UK rests in your hands.

Letter from the Chair

Dear Delegates,

I am pleased to welcome you to ILMUNC India 2017! I hope you are as excited to be here as I am! My name is Nicole Ksendzovskaya, and I will be serving as chair of the Pre-Brexit UK House of Commons GA Committee.

I am a sophomore at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and I became involved with MUN one of my first days in college, and have loved every minute of it since. Outside of the International Affairs Organization (the organization which encompasses all MUN conferences at Penn), I am involved with a freshman mentorship program at Wharton.

ILMUNC India 2017 promises to be an exciting and engaging conference. I cannot wait to meet all of you and serve as your chair. Please let me know if you have any questions about the committee, the conference, or anything else that can enhance your experience! I am excited to meet you all this November, and I look forward to an incredible conference.
