Welcome to ILMUNC India 2017! My name is Arman Ramezani, and it is my pleasure to serve as your Chair for the Ad Hoc Crisis Committee.
I am a sophomore in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business. I was born and raised in Palos Verdes, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles and moved here to Philly for college. I competed and chaired in Model United Nations throughout high school, and in college, I have been involved in two different conferences, including UPMUNC, Penn’s college conference, and ILMUNC. This is my second year being involved in Penn’s International Affairs Association (IAA), which is the umbrella organization which includes ILMUNC India.
Outside of the IAA, I am involved in the education policy branch of Penn’s student government. I love trying new cuisine, Persian food being my favorite. I also spend significant time learning about cars and new automotive technology.
Your dais, including myself, a Vice Chair, and the Crisis Director will try to ensure you have the best experience at ILMUNC India this November. My goal for committee is to stimulate all of you in a fast paced setting while maintaining a friendly environment. Additionally, I hope to serve as a resource who has insight into college life and admissions.
I am excited to meet you all, and we cannot wait to hear the debate in committee.
